Happy Saturday you guys that are reading this tonight.  I just finished up my first Fall Herbalife Sampling Party, and let me tell you guys this it was spectacular. We got to taste some flavors of shake that I hadn't tried yet.  I even fell in love with the Dutch chocolate flavor again, it was wonderful.  I got a chance to catch up with everybody and just tell them about my results using these great products.  This evening they all got a chance to see what I looked like at the very beginning of my journey.  I have come a long way, but you guys I am still a work in progress.  I have not made it to my goal weight yet, or my financial goal either for that matter.  It's going to take persistence, and time.  Anything is possible if you put your mind to it you can make it happen.  So never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something. It's your job to prove them wrong and make them eat those words.  My party ended with getting about 5 new customers.  There will be many many more of those to come.  I love having those parties it gives people a chance to ask questions, and to taste things.  All you fanatics out there please have a safe and blessed weekend.  There will be lots more to talk about next week.

Firstly, let me start off by saying happy Thursday to all of you fanatics out there.  What's up and hows it been going for you guys today?  I gotta tell you guys this is just another typical Thursday for me, but my life is surely starting to look up lately.  My regular 9-5 JOB as I call it, has pretty much been the norm for me for quite some time now.  I care for those who need assistance, and I wouldn't have it any other way, but the game is vastly changing folks, and let me just tell you if you don't follow the tide you will get left behind.  How many of you have noticed that your work hours are getting cut?  Come on don't be shy, cause I know that it's been happening to people a lot this year.  This is because of what's going on in the news right now. It's called The Obama Care.  Granted it's a great idea, and very much needed for people that are poor and middle class.  The problem here is all of the loop holes that we are all starting to suffer from.  Believe me it's only just begun so hold on folks.

Here's the solution to this problem everybody.  Plain and simple, you need to be your own boss, and work for yourself.  I'm not telling you to storm off, and quit your job or anything like that.  No definitely do not do that people.  It will take some time and patience, but you have to act now. This has to do with securing the future for you and your family.  The best way to do this is to become an entrepreneur.  Test the waters out first, and this is very important. You want to see if you are even a good fit to becoming a boss. It's so easy for all of us to say, " yeah I would do so much better if I can run things".  Well put yourself in there shoes, so to do this start doing research on what your interested in doing.  Are you a great cook?  Do you draw all of the time, or are you great at fitness.  This is your chance to start doing what you love.

You can put together a business plan, and there are so many great books out there to give you the information you need. This part right here is very important, which is find out what your why is, and what I mean by your why is simply your main reason.  What is your drive for doing all of this because other wise it will all become meaningless.  My main reason is my son, and wanting to make things better for him.  I also want to give him the opportunity when he gets old enough to be able to be his own boss as well, but he has to want that for himself.  You can start off doing what I'm doing working your way to the top.  I am just like you still going to work and balancing my check book, but the difference between us is the fact that I am also my own boss. Good evening all you Fanatics out there.  I hope all has been going well with all of you.  So as I promised you guys yesterday I wanted to tell you about what my year was like, and why I decided to get healthy.  As most of us today in this country I just kind of got stuck in the same old sublime routine.  I kept on making excuses, and reasons why I just couldn't get started eating healthier, or working out.  For me, all I was really concerned about was going to work, paying my bills, and taking care of everybody else.  I just kept putting myself last on my endless list.  Well this finally took it's tole on me, mentally and physically.  For instance, looking in the mirror just was not something I liked to do.  I could hardly recognize myself, my appearance just did not sit well with me.  I just felt terrible!

My clothes were getting tighter, and tighter.  Yet my excuse was oh well, it's probably about to be that time of the month or maybe I'm constipated.  Yeah, I was really full of it with the excuses.  Finally I started to get more colds, and sinus infections.  Also, I started to realize that there was not one day that I could think back on that I was not having excessive joint pain.  Pain pills like Tylenol and Advil were taken every 4 hours, and I wore an ankle brace every day to work, or  pretty much every where all the time.  Walking without that brace just was not an option, because my ankle hurt too much.  I also wore an arm compression sleeve as well.  I actually waddled when I walked anywhere.   I just could not help doing that, and I felt really embarrassed by that.

I just had enough of all of this crap so I finally gave myself a reality check.  Life is just to short to be unhappy, and that was why I was not happy with my situation. So by the time I took this photo of me in the before shot I had managed to lose some weight on my own being Vegan.  I just could not lose anymore so that is when I decided to use Herbalife.  I got on a body transformation challenge, which pushed me to work out a little bit harder, and just pay a little more attention to what I put on my plate.  Another thing that I began to do is work on doing more things for myself.  That meant spending a little bit more me time, whether that was working out, meditation, praying, or listening to self enrichment audios. Listen, for me doing this was a pretty big step.

As women it's in our nature to be nurturers, and to a fault we tend to put ourselves last.  This can become very detrimental to our health.  It's got to stop, we have to stop thinking that we are being selfish.  We simply are not, it's just called taking care of yourself.  If you don't take care of yourself then who will.  Who will care for our children if we do so much for everybody else that we let ourselves go, and drop down one day.  I guarantee you guys that the children would rather have there mother or father there with them alive and well.  Just food for thought, and something we all need to remember.

Hello Hello to all my avid Entrepreneurial readers.  I have been pretty much MIA again doing me.  Yes that's right you heard me, and of course look up top.  That is my before and after picture, well I like to call it my before, and continuing on pic.  The reason I say continuing on is, because that's basically what I'm still doing.  I am a work in progress, and I am no where near where I want to be yet, but I am definitely getting there.  I feel a million times better then I did 4 months ago physically.  My body has been transformed right now to be able to do military style workouts now.

  Every week I give myself a fit test to see where I'm at and I surpass my goal every single time.  Listen to me folks, there are always going to be people around you that have something negative to say when you start doing something that just isn't the norm.  If everyone at your household or at your work place is eating junk food all night or just always having lots of those home cooked mouth watering foods that make you gain about 20 lbs in 2 months, well they want you to keep joining in on what they call fun.  Well it's not fun anymore now is it?  No it's not fun when your back hurts, your joints are hurting and swelling cause of the excess of sodium in your diet, and your body just wasn't to carry all the extra weight.

  I'm 5"4 so guess what?  I was hitting about 245 lbs. by the end of last year.  That was too much for my little height to carry, so yeah I was in a lot of pain.  I'm talking Tylenol, Advil, Goody Powder for relief every 4 hours on the dot for relief pain.  I was just not feeling attractive anymore, hated the way I looked in my clothes and of course out of them.  Every day I complained about not being able to find something to wear whenever it was time to go out.  I would just whine like a baby about it, and then be completely pissed off at the department stores, because I couldn't find the right size a lot of times.  When you have curves and you get completely out of shape, you have to wear big girl clothes, and those just are not cute.  In fact they tended to make me look even bigger.  How much do you think I weigh now?  Just leave a message reply to this, and I would greatly appreciate it.

After you have managed to pack on 60 plus pounds by the end of the year.  I am building a team of Entrepreneurs right now.  So now is the time to get in on the ground floor.  Changing to a healthy fit life style can be the most rewarding move you make.  Coming up tomorrow I will be flashing back to that start date in my picture above. Battle of the Buldge

Once again I would like to apologize to my wonderful audience for not posting in a while.  I have been taking some time to focus on getting healthy and becoming a better me.  This is a going to be a life long battle for me, because I tend to fluctuate from time to time.  My goal this time is to lose weight, be healthy and stay that way.  My choice of products to help aid me has been using Sensa on the food that I eat.  Using this product all on it's on has helped me to lose 18 lbs. and 13 inches in one month.  I started using it in January, because of course along with millions of you out there my main new years resolution was to lose weight and get healthy.  I have been doing pretty well using the Sensa, and I remember to sprinkle it on everything I eat.  If you do not use it regularly then it will not work very well for you.  I also drink at least 64 oz. of water daily and have stopped with most of the pop drinking.

Towards the end of January I ended up spraining my ankle, because I slipped on the ice getting out of my car at work.  So that really held me back for a bit with the workouts.  Thankfully, last week I stared feeling well enough to start working out again lightly.  Every day I increase the resistance and speed of my workouts along with the time.  This is my new way of life, and when I get to my goal I will then tweak my way of life.  Every day I also drink at least 64 oz. of water, and I make sure of it.  Another product that I am using is Herbalife, of which I supplement two meal replacement shakes, take supplemental vitamins, and then have  whatever is my choice for a healthy dinner.  Using both the Sensa and Herbalife combined is a really great combo, because the Sensa makes you eat less while the Herbalife also helps you to put more important nutrients back into your body.  It also helps to cut down on calorie in-take.  I will keep you all up to date with my use of these products and also my progress as I go.  Until then remember that you can still stick to that New Years Resolution.

Black Friday Madness Myth or Fact

 

 

So tonight the rush and hustle and bustle for bargains is still in the works this evening.  People are at the stores pushing and fighting for the next great big thing.  I have witnessed what really happens at these big sales first hand eight years ago.  I can only imagine what craziness could be happening now in the shopping aisles.  People were fighting over the last Barbie doll, and now they are doing that with the Ipad's and Iphone's.  Critics have stated that the whole thing is just a way to get people to come to the stores and spend money.  They believe that these so called bargains just do not exist for consumers anymore.  The main thing the you the consumer have to focus on when shopping is how much was this item a week ago?  Some stores mark the prices up high and then bring it back down a little bit to make the sale seem appealing.  When actually there was never a proper bargain to start with.  

If you take your time and try to stay away from some of the craziness you will find some diamonds in the rough sales.  I have seen the prices of some televisions at Walmart and if you get one today you would save at least $100.  Some stores offer loyalty rewards which may also consist of what is called door busters, and a percentage deducted from your entire bill.  So when these pop up I say jump at the opportunity for savings and break that store door down.  After tonight tomorrow will begin Small Business Saturday and following this will be Cyber Monday.  So everyone have a safe and mindful Thanks Giving holiday, and always keep track of your holiday spending.

Presidential debate

 Last night I watched the debate on television featuring running mate Mick Romney and President Barrack Obama.  I watched this debate and it seemed to just go from bad to worst for our President.  First of all, let me make this clear I am voting for him this year, because I think he needs four more years to fix everything that is wrong with the economy.  No one can just turn things around drastically in only four years of office.  When he took office the housing market bombed and there was the war on terror still going on overseas.  During his time of service as our President he has tried to pass many different things, but congress would always kill the bill.  A Democratic President cannot work well with a Republican congress that only wants to support their own agenda. 

I sat and watched this debate last night to see that Romney talked a really good talk.  He was calm collected and worked hard on presenting his facts during the debate.  The President started off really good, but then he started to stutter a little bit, and just did not present good enough facts for the debate.  It just looked to me as though he was really tired and just was not aggressive enough.  However, I did not think that it would continue to go on like this as I watched.  In my mind I thought that he would regroup and make up for it in the next round.  Well unfortunately that just did not happen last night and by the end of the debate it looked as though our President had lost a few of his supporters because of this one debate. 

I think that we all need to listen carefully to what Romney has said during the beginning of this race, and to what he is now saying as we grow closer to the end of it.  He is always changing what he has said out of his own mouth to save face and to gain more votes.  He needs to say something and then stick by what he stands for and what he has said.  Instead he is starting to promise exactly what the President has always offered us, but tweaking it to look as though it is his own agenda.  I call this straight and out right plagiarism on his part and I find it to be very distasteful to me.  We can do better than this as a country and I think that we all need to listen to all of the facts and ask for even more to back it all up before we go out there and vote.  If we vote blindly we could all end much worst than in a great depression, so if we want to improve our livelihoods we need to listen carefully to watch they are both saying.  I definitely have been and so I will stand by our President Barrack Obama.

How the mighty have fallen (Zeek Rewards)

Firstly, let me start off by stating that this post I am putting up is very dear to me, and it hits me to the core of my bones. I joined a company based right here in NC that many people were able to surpass their regular paychecks, and some were even retiring from their nine to five jobs. I was able to surpass my regular paycheck so much though that I tripled it. So I thought wow, "this is going to be a really good Christmas". Not just for me but for thousands of people, because that's how big this thing got. It just took on a life of it's own, so regular people that were teachers, doctors, butchers, home makers were now given the chance to make a better life for their families. These people were getting a taste of what the good life as they call it was really like. If you had an important bill to pay that you normally struggled to pay well no more you could just say here you go and be on your way. If your kids wanted that new game or needed something for school well no problem wham here you go. So here I am a long with my counter parts that joined this company thinking to ourselves, " man this company is going to be here for the long haul". So we all kept on making plans and some were cashing out some of their daily earnings, myself as well. There were people who had their whole family join this company and they were all doing well making money from home. I have been interested in MLM other wise known as multi level marketing for quite some time now.   I have signed up and joined some amazing companies in the past.  One of the most important things that one should focus on is the type of business plan the company has to offer you.  These days I am mostly interested in following companies that offer incentives for you to earn whether you sign people up under you or not.  This can be very difficult for some to do and can prove to be very disheartening.  So to help take the edge off some companies may offer a way to earn by you investing a little bit more.

Never Forget, Never Surrender

Today is the 11th year anniversary of September 11th, and I have to tell you thinking about that day doesn't get any easier for me. Even though I was not personally affected by loss on this day it still affected me. As I sat and watched the days events on live television that day I could have never imagined for things to end the way that they did. I think that we all were affected by this as a country, and it felt extremely personal. The best way that I can describe it was like experiencing a death. Only it was not just a death but many people that were lost on that day.

The main thing that I ask all of you Fire Torch readers to do is just tell your loved ones that you love them today. Spend time with them give them a hug and a kiss, because we never know how much time we have. Think about the ones that were lost that can't do this now that have family and friends that have to go on now without them. I appreciate all of the servicemen that sacrificed for our freedom. Thank you to all of the special response team members, civilians, healthcare professionals that helped out on this day. If it were not for you many more would have been lost to this catastrophe. I will never forget this day, and as a former Navy girl I will never surrender. I hope that all of you reading this post out there will do the same.

Eleven year anniversary of September 11th

We are about to embark on the eleven year anniversary of September 11th tomorrow. Can you even believe that this catastrophe happened so long ago? I certainly have a hard time believing that so much time has passed by since I sat and watched the horrific images on my television on that day. My son was still a baby, so as usual at that time in my life after caring for him I looked at the news right after. It was like watching a Hollywood movie it just did not seem like this was all taking place live. So what I want to ask all of you is to sit and take a moment of silence to think about all of those people that were lost. I want you to think about all of the service and response teams members that were also lost, and the brave civilians that gave their lives to ensure that many more would not be lost as well. This one really hit home for me, because I am a New Yorker. I was born and raised in Queens New York, and I did not move away until I turned twenty two after I had my son. Even though I was no longer living there it was always a habit of mine to keep tabs on my city. I even had New York television stations provided to me courtesy of Dish Network Satellite service. Folks, this just was not what I wanted to see going on at my old stomping grounds that day. So this is something for you to sleep on, what do you remember doing on September 11th? Marketing Your Business

Today I just wanted to talk about the importance of marketing your business. For example, you decide to build a site or have one built to get you started being your own boss, but you do not advertise or get any traffic to your site. The consequences of not getting any visitors to your site would be lack of sales or lack of recruiting for your business opportunity. So you would need to find sources of advertising online and even offline to help boost those visits to your business. One of the first things that I would suggest is look into signing up for some free advertising sources. There are also free search engine submission sites that you can go to that are also helpful with submitting to many major search engines. This is the only way that people can find you on the internet. Just because you have a website or a blog does not mean that people will automatically go there. You must make your presence known to everyone, and you can always start by telling all of your friends and family about it. Give out your web address and always ask for lots of input, because they are on the other side looking in, so they can tell you if you are lacking something or if there is something annoying going on whenever they visit. You can then fix those issues and make your site a more enjoyable place for all to visit. Another way to help increase business is to join online groups and forums where you can talk with people that have the same interests, and may also be doing the same type of business as you. This type of strategy is called networking, which can be a great way for you to pick the mind of some really great people in the field. You can use this opportunity to pick their minds, and ask them what they have done and what actually works best. You can also ask them about trying something new out that you many not be sure about. Chances are that they may have heard something about it and can tell you if it's a good idea or whether you should run away from pursuing it. One of the groups that I joined that has been really helpful to me is on Facebook and it's called My Lead system Pro master mind group. This group is for anyone that is using the My Lead system pro to help them promote their business, and we all just connect on here. We have weekly webinars that are really insightful, and if you have any questions about something you can always get some help from another member. I am still pretty new at Network Marketing, but as time goes by I make new friends and acquaintances that have been very helpful to me. We all keep in touch, and if one of them find out some really good information or start doing another business that has been successful for them then they come back and tell me about it. I have also been saved by some of them from wasting my money on an advertising method that was already tried and was very unsuccessful. Once you begin doing all of the free methods of marketing you can then begin to look into using some paid services. Some of these services offer a free trial or a small free just to try it out to see how it works. Working On Asparations

Today I have decided to spend more time tweaking out all of the kinks that might be here on my blog. So I checked through some old posts and updated most of them to make them even more interesting and insightful to all of you out there. I also added some new features that may be relevant to any of you who may also be considering the idea of starting a blog of your own. One of those features is about marketing your blog,so I added a service on here to help you advertise your blog. This of course would only be once you have your blog up and running. I am very happy to help any one out there to utilize their own PC to help them earn some money and also to just get a chance to write what you love. I tend to be a very creative person that even once fancied the idea of creating my very own fashion line while still in high school.

Every day I drew pages and pages of different designs of things that did not even appear in the clothing market until 15 years later. That is why I advocate that if you have a really good idea you should run with it. Have faith in yourself and learn every thing you can in that particular market, because your idea may be the next big thing out there. Do not trust third party companies to help you with your dream and never let anyone talk you out of going after your dream. It is very important to go out there and try to get patents,so no one can steal your idea and profit from your great idea. Omg, can you imagine a time machine blender?! That could be the next big wave of the future when it comes to gadgets. Evey one has to take a risk in order to become successful in life. For instance, take Donald Trump he took a lot of risks to get where he is today, and he still does today therefore he reaps the benefits from it. Labor Day Tribute to all

Let me start off by saying Happy Labor Day to everyone here in the United States.  Today really means a lot to hard working citizens every where.  I should know I'm one of them, and after working as hard as I did this past weekend I appreciate this holiday all the more.  So now I'm giving my body the rest and rejuvenation that it needs.  It is a privilege to be on here today and have the opportunity to be able to voice my opinions an concerns without jurisdiction.  Not everyone has the chance nor the time to be able to do so, due to the economy.  I am proud and very much appreciate the fact that I own my very own computer that I can work on right now.  There are many others that unfortunately do not have the same luxury to do so with in there means.

Too many of us are having to go out and work two or three jobs to make ends meet.  For example, who can really survive off of minimum wage while raising a growing family.  Well  unfortunately, that is the growing trend these days and we better get our children ready for the harsh reality of what life will be like if they do not focus on a career or a trade.  At least if you harness a skill, for say drawing go to the school of art or a fashion school and then you will be OK.  Make sure they follow what they love so they won't be stuck in a job that they hate later on.  I plan on teaching my son to always have a plan B in life so that he will always have something to fall on just in case plan A doesn't work out.  So everyone what is your plan B?  This is a serious question that one should ask of themselves.  For instance, setting up a will and a having life insurance which I know many of us put off since in our minds, " Ah I have plenty of time to do that so I'll do it later".  Well unfortunately sometimes that time gets shortened due to unforeseen circumstances, so it always gets put off.  Lets all starting today by thinking about the future and not only think about just today

Today is a day that everyone  should think long and hard whether they are financially free or are dirt poor. about what this day really stands for.  Too many people go unappreciated for the great jobs that they do and so they feel as though they are left behind in society.  Lets think for a minute about people that have to do jobs that we may not want to do.  Somebody has to do them, because if they didn't get done this country would have a hard time functioning as a whole.  If you can afford it give that waitress or pizza man a little more today if you can.  Donate something to a charity, because this will be greatly appreciated by these individuals.  The main point of today is to remember what people have sacrificed in the past while also thanking those who today work hard for a living.  Once again Happy Labor Day to all you hard working moms, dads, and children out there.
