Eleven year anniversary of September 11th

We are about to embark on the eleven year anniversary of September 11th tomorrow. Can you even believe that this catastrophe happened so long ago? I certainly have a hard time believing that so much time has passed by since I sat and watched the horrific images on my television on that day. My son was still a baby, so as usual at that time in my life after caring for him I looked at the news right after. It was like watching a Hollywood movie it just did not seem like this was all taking place live. So what I want to ask all of you is to sit and take a moment of silence to think about all of those people that were lost. I want you to think about all of the service and response teams members that were also lost, and the brave civilians that gave their lives to ensure that many more would not be lost as well. This one really hit home for me, because I am a New Yorker. I was born and raised in Queens New York, and I did not move away until I turned twenty two after I had my son. Even though I was no longer living there it was always a habit of mine to keep tabs on my city. I even had New York television stations provided to me courtesy of Dish Network Satellite service. Folks, this just was not what I wanted to see going on at my old stomping grounds that day. So this is something for you to sleep on, what do you remember doing on September 11th? I hope to hear from you guys with your stories about this significant day, and please have a good night.
